It does have voice guidance. Have a look at the Sat Nav Interactive Guide on this Forum.

Is your satnav in offroad mode, perhaps? Press the LH hard button under the monitor and make sure you have selected "On Road Navigation". I never tried offroad navigation on the pavement, but I suspect there would be no turn-by-turn directions in that mode. |

I've been trying to think what the solution was when I had the same problem when I picked my RRS up. That was it.... it was muted
