Each to their own Josh, but each generation of M3 has pretty much been a benchmark for the category and I expect this will continue the standard. What don't you like about them, out of interest? Very Happy

I'm sure the engineering side of it is fantastic. But I don't like the Germanic coldness. It's almost like a surgical instument in precision. Which I'm sure is good for some people......but then some people who drive them like to surgically slice every other motorist from the road. Twisted Evil
So perhaps my dislike is two fold......... Censored TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Quiet at the back!! Rolling Eyes

Josh, good points. I've heard the tireless precision accusations of BMW before on many occasions.... odd that a positive thing is used as a negative Very Happy So you won't be knocking down Kam's door for a ride when he gets his then? Laughing

its far to quick - Jem's E55 is a f***ing rocket ship but you just cant drive it that quick on the road without basically being an asshole (imho) - the M3 will be the same I feel

You don't have to drive them like an idiot.... I used to love driving my M3 on the open road etc, but once you're stuck in traffic in the middle of Guildford you're not enjoying it anymore than the guy next to you in the 1.6 Mondeo. I still maintain the M3 is one of the best all rounders out there - and with the larger boot of the E92, it even scores some practicality points. For me, the M5 Touring would be the first choice but if I was still YFS then I'd probably still be in my E46 Thumbs Up

Is it this week? If poss, maybe you could scan in and post?

The RS4 is also stonking.... and when I had a spin in Kam's, seemingly much quicker than the E46 M3 - but the new M3 against the RS4 is a close run thing. Both the same horses, but still only 2WD in the M3. It'll be close... Bow down
