RS4 have started losing a lot of dough, they will be very good 2nd hand purchases.. M3 is going to be the car to have for quite a while.. so for the money they will be good news i reckon, and from initial demand etc..

Lets see how the cookie crumbles!!

Some may say the german cars are surgical instruments with no soul and passion but quite frankly i believe that to be a load of bo****s.
Think about the passion and soul that went into the Mk1 Golf Gti. Or into the new Mk5 Gti.
My 5 series, its not just a machine to me its a part of the family.
This may just be because I love it so much but I think even german cars have soul and passion and no doubt will the new M3 be just as good and evidently huugely better than its predecessor.

And if you think you've gotta be an A'hole to drive one...well...ok...who cares? If you get some chav thinking that his Saxo VTR is going to beat you...prove him wrong because the smile that it'll put on your face will make you laugh the whole way home! Michael Potter

it is interesting to hear everyones opinion though - its amazing how passionate we can be about a inanimate object Wink

Mike - I owned a 5 series last for 8 months and although it was a great car, I found it boring - different people, different opinions. All good to hear Thumbs Up

Dealer mentioned additional deposit.. so will be avoiding him for the next couple of months naturally!! hehe.. they only have had £500 since Nov 2004.. if he asks me for a £1k thats ok, anymore and im dissapearing till a week before delivery.. Cool

I would consider one, and i would take one for a good blast.. however im scared of the depreciation on the C AMG cars.. they don't really have that much of a following, and merc tend to over supply cars.. look at the ML63.. dropped about 15k in its first few months.. too big an engine, and too juicy for me for my personaly car anyway.. the M3 will be juicy enough with its 4.0 V8 but it should be better then the RS4 only driving two wheels afterall... lets see how my new limo business goes before ordering the next car!!
