I think it is all a smoke screen, you get the public, politicians and unions convinced it is going to be private equity or the chinese that are going to be the owners, then you at the last minute say of course if we could reduce the number of factories and thereby our costs we won't sell. The Fl2 is already built on the same line as the x type, Geoff Polites says the big problem is over capacity, why not sell off a factory for housing reduce capacity and over heads, suddenly a very profitable business and a big chunk of cash in the bank to bail out Ford. |
