My local tyre fitter did replacements @ £195, but that was then... maybe they are generally more expensive now.

Get them checked out by a specialist, these could still be ok for a while. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I'd say its a cheap insurance policy if you buy a new tyre, especially if its a front one. |

Heh, I also have many trouble-free miles on a tire with about 4x as much sidewall missing. Those Contis suck....
