How do you open the bonnet ?

Pull the lever inside the car in the passenger footwell then just off centre on the bonnet (as you look at it on the right) is a catch that needs lifting up. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Of course it would help if they put a sensor on the dip stick!!! LR really needs to redesign the RRS (and I assume the D3 s the same design) as it is as good as useless - the only time it is accurate is when there is so little oil in the engine that nothing is shown on the dipstick.

If it's any consolation it took me ages to work out how to open the bonnet too.... why the hell they put the bonnet release over in the pax footwell I have no clue

Suits all those who live in Europe, Africa, China, South America............................. well just about everywhere that hasn't been a UK Colony really! YES!! When I but my first Freelander in Mexico, I was surprise: the bonnet release was in the passenger’s side (Right Side). The Disco 2 was in my side, and now my RRS has it in my side too.
