Lazy Entry

Has any body figured out what the process is for setting up lazy entry as both my partner and I are using seperate keys and both set our mirrors and seats in totaly different positions it would be great for them to alter themselves with each key used.
I know where the lazy entry in the info screen is but have not got any further.

Cheers, Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

If you know where it is in the infp screen I think that's it, just turn it on for your key and do the same thing with the other key for your wife. Then all you have to remember is to use the right key Rolling Eyes

Spent the night playing with various bits,
Have set Lazy Entry to on in the menu but nothing happens when pressing the alarm button. Has anybody got this feature working on the car that they own. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

While sitting parked with the key in the ignition and not started, set the position on your seat and mirrors to your liking... then press MEM on the seat followed by 1 (or 2, or 3). This will bind your preference to the key in the ignition. Now, when opening the door with the key fob... the seat & mirrors should adjust to the key setting if you have "Lazy Entry" enabled.

Biggles,

May I add to Grommet's reply. Whilst sitting in the car, your starter key should be in position I or II.
Now adjust the seat, steering column, reverse mirrors etc.
Next press the MEM button on the side of the seat. WITHIN 5 SECONDS, press the desired seat button. In your case I would presume it would be number 1.
If all goes well, MEMORY STORED will appear on the message centre confirming this action.

Your partner can now do the same BUT with the second starter key.

So every time you use your key, YOUR seating position will be chosen. Likewise, if your partner wants to take the car out for a spin, all she needs to do is use HER key. Once she presses the Remote key, the seat, mirrors etc. will move according to HER stored memory.

Don't forget, you need to choose the 'lazy seat' option for this to work.

Hope the above helps. Malaysia Boleh!

What a shame though they didn't tie in the steering column into the memory electrics, that was just a silly marketing ploy, used to try and show there is a difference between the Range Rover and the Sport....when I am paying nearly £60 grand for a car I expect it to have these features, plus a TV tuner too! How lazy am I,
Bobby, never gave it much thought over the weekend but now that I think about it I have not had to adjust my seat after my partner has drove and then locked the car. So it seems all to be working OK.
It was not until I read your post that I thought about it. Laughing Laughing Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.
