RRS's maximum height is ~181.7 cm -- if the vehicle is placed in "access height", it's ~176.7 cm. |

Don't forget it can be locked into access height too for going ito your garage so you need not worry about it hitting the ceiling.

When it is locked in access mode it will not automatically rise as you drive out of your garage. You can also drive down the road in locked access mode and it will only rise up automatically when you reach a acertain speed, about 20mph. L319 D4 HSE

Even when it is in access mode ( but not locked in ) it will still not rise to normal ride height untill the car has reached/exceeded 6mph

The only problem is if you can only access the garage when the car is lowered there will be that time when the wife forgets to lower the suspension! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

This is an old topic, but I absolutely need to solve the same problem as Robbo's. My garage's entry is 178 mm high. I've been reading all kinds of technical specs about the RRS for a couple of weeks. The problem is that I read several heights in access mode :

according to 2010MY sales literature the height in normal mode is 1789mm with sunroof closed and roof pod, in access mode (which can be locked down) height is quoted as 50mm less at 1739mm you should also check how WIDE your garage doors are because RRS is a wide car, although not as porky as D4 or Frelander2, at 2158mm with mirrors unfolded or 2004mm with them folded in. My garage door is (just) high enough but the opening is 2014mm wide therefore not enough wiggle room so it has to sit outside. Inside my garage is 3000m wide but I am not getting the door widened to fit! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I think the width won't be a problem : a Renault Espace IV (2104 mm with mirors unfolded) fits in my garage.
