My tyres are 20's and they have done 8k of what i would call quite spirited driving and while i was washing the car today i had a look as you do and the tyre wear is minimal but even across the tyre. some of my Previous cars

I've done 16k in my s/chrgd on 20's and the front tyre wear is pathetic outer edges badly worn - but alignment is spot on.... it's a common feature of big SUV's several tyre shops have said they see this all the while on RRS - X5's Porky Pigs etc etc

Had to replace mine at 16k miles, but bought a brand new set of 4 wheels and tyres for £800......less than the cost of the tyres alone......isn't ebay a wonderful thing! ' .

I bought a set of 4 new tyres for a lowly sum of £300 & will get Chips Away or similar to attend to the odd scuff I have on my wheels - I think they charge approx £50 on average per wheel - so all 4 refurbed to as New for £200???

Outer edge tyre wear is very common on all the big 4x4's due to the weight. However they should not wear down to the canvas at that mileage and if so I would expect the whole tyre to be bald.
