United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Chawton White

That's true for the Disco/LR3 handles, although they are a dull black so they still won't quite match your Java black paint. I painted my handles a year ago (white) and have had no problems with paint peeling or "dimpling" so far. I did read some complaints on the big Range forum from owners claiming the stock grey handles are starting to discolor/fade, one more reason to paint them if that is the case... As long as the body shop does it right (sanding the surface to make it smooth before they paint it) and uses the appropriate paint, you shouldn't have any problems.

Did you had it made at your dealer, or elsewhere?

About the door handles, some one told me that I should go for the Disco handles, as they are already black, insted of painting them.

At my local paint shop for £20 per item - just make sure that there baked!

Heres a pic of one with the full black look

Great pic Doc, but I'm not sold on the front grille and prefer the bright silver slats (just breaks it up, looks too heavy in solid black). Thumbs Up MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs
