That's true for the Disco/LR3 handles, although they are a dull black so they still won't quite match your Java black paint. I painted my handles a year ago (white) and have had no problems with paint peeling or "dimpling" so far. I did read some complaints on the big Range forum from owners claiming the stock grey handles are starting to discolor/fade, one more reason to paint them if that is the case... As long as the body shop does it right (sanding the surface to make it smooth before they paint it) and uses the appropriate paint, you shouldn't have any problems. |
