Just been in at the tyre shop... put a nail through one and had a chat with the dealer regards costs for new when the time comes. Since i'm a valued customer i can have a Conti Cross Contact 295/40/20 for $780 rather than the usual $890!!!! Works out to be $3120 for four, and only about 20,000 km's....... Had a quick look on ebay and with the exchange rate at the moment i can get four new wheels plus tyres for $2950 freight inclusive, as long as i can get around import tax (just get a receipt attached stating replacement under warranty ) Wondering what everyone thinks of the Pirelli zero's? No rain here so wet weather handing doesn't matter and i have 18's for offroad work so just interested in dry handling, noise and milage.... any info would be great |

Just read in a magazine that Michelin has desigened a new tyre specially for SUV's. It's called Latitude Tour HP and is developed together with Porsche for the Cayenne. It will also be standard mounted on Q7, Touareg and the new X5. Michelin claim it will last 35% longer than competition. Will come as 19" to 23".
