Yes, the car does lower the ride height by 20mm if the vehicle speed exceeds 100 mph for longer than 5 seconds. Looks like you were going faster than 70mph! ![]() ![]() 4.2SC Chawton White, Stormers Tasmod's Sills, Wind Deflectors, LR Sills Clear Side Repeaters, Towbar Larini Sports Exhaust, K&N Air Filter ______________________________ WINNER - 2008 'Tech-Head Of The Year' Award WINNER - 2009 Outstanding Contribution WINNER - 2009 'Tech-Head Of The Year' Award |

All based around the fact that the RRS is much more stable at 100mph than a big RR, I suppose. In fairness to LR, it does say in the bit in the handbook about the automatic lowering "NEVER EXCEED THE SPEED LIMIT". I suppose there are some markets who have derestricted roads... Germany etc. |

The RRS just cruises when going fast. My friend says that when he hits 90mph the ride is fantastic and very smooooooooth - I'll have to take his word for it. |

I have no problem cruising in at 70 to 80 mph. I have not have enough open road to hit and sustain 100 mph. The car will do it with no problem. 90-95 is very stable. Seems very fast. My old car was a Mercedes E430, had that up to 131 ish and can cruise at 100 with no problem. |

RRUK, be blessed that you are driving a very updated and advanced vehicle from LR. The engineers at LR must have done extensive tests to determine that the RRS, at its normal driving height, will have no problems with the centre of gravity up till speeds of 100mph.

I regularly drive the RRS at around 110-120 on motorways responding to calls. Its as stable as many of my previous cars.
