TDV8 WOW

Having had a TDV6 for quite a few months and done about 8k in it and having it chipped as well i was quite happy with it overall, until............. i drove the V8 RRS

Censored me its amazing, i don't think you get the full appreciation of the performance and the difference between the two unless you have driven a V6 and then a V8

Apart from the obvious difference in performance, the car has a different feel to it altogether, the noise reminds me of a TVR growling down the road, yet still having the presence of a luxury 4x4, the Brembo brakes are out standing in comparison and the suspension and steering feels more positive

The demo i have also has TV which i prefer to the DVD's but it has hideous HST spoilers(post pics tomorrow)

I cant imagine what a chipped V8 must be like,it (must be awesome) but watch this space Cool

To all of you who already own one Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green Bow down Bow down Bow down Bow down

MDP stop teasing me, i did say that i wasnt bothered about the performance and the noise of the RRS, as i have a loud fast toy, but now, im not so sure, but i dont think i could justify having the supercharged, i dont want to even try one, as i know what will happen Whistle Whistle some of my Previous cars

Stick with the TDV8........Supercharged is for girls.

Real men go diesel. Now where did I put my emery board? .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

TDV8 HSE MY10 with pretty much everything including a vase of daffs on the back shelf, tropical fish collection in the centre console, hamsters in the spare tyre and finally sheep on the passenger seats.....for weight distribution, what else??

That reminds me Doc
Your Dynamic Response, you needed something to remove the oil on your drive- go to the local motor repair shop and get some Brake/Clutch cleaner, they clean the brake dust out of the drums with it. Its only about £1-50 per can, its got carbon tet in so it moves just about anything off your drive, or carpets or anything. You don't stop playing because you get old, You get old because you stop playing.

07 TDV6 been and gone. 08 TDV6 been and gone. 08.5 TDV8 in evaluation mode and now gone. BMW 535D M sport Been and gone, Now time for RRS No4 - TDV6 HSE in Stornaway with Ebony - 09 Model 6 months old.
