Willie-Wonka

Just checked. I'm 1.91 (6"3") and have 90mm clearance. No sunroof. Just arrived home from 800km trip to the city and no problems in neck and shoulders. SWMBO is 5' 10" and can't believe you're having a problem. I checked to see whether her seat setting was any different in height to mine and it wasn't. Highest point between sill tread plate and seat squab is 330mm - back of squab is about 220mm. Don't forget that you can adjust the tilt and the height of the squab using (rotating) the fore/aft switch rather than pushing it back and forth - Hope this helps. It doesn't really matter how tall you are what matters is how that height is distributed - you could have short legs and a long body! I'm just under 6 ft and have the same problem as WW and I have shortish legs. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Further to VA's suggestion that the proportionate length of the body/legs varies between humans. This hypothesis is undeniably true but think about this. W-W is 1.78m tall. That's 130mm shorter than I am. My body is 1m long (top of head to tail bone) (give or take). For W-W to be touching the roof his body needs to be 930mm (% his height/my height) + 70mm (to get him to my height) + 90mm (my clearance) = 1.09m. This leaves just 690mm (or just over 2'3") for his legs - think about it!!! SDV6 (14.5) Corris Grey NZ Spec + door mouldings, mud flaps and tow bar

OK. That was rather difficult for the grey matter after a long day on the road, you're quite right. Off to the sack now to get prepared for the weekend's cricket, about which you English have been very quiet I must say; even after winning the 2nd test SDV6 (14.5) Corris Grey NZ Spec + door mouldings, mud flaps and tow bar
