RE. Item 17 - switchable headlights for continental driving. Mine already has that. There is a little lever on the back of each headlight to change the dipping pattern. Or do you mean something else?

- Backup camera, at least as an extra cost option.
- A "real" subwoofer.
- More accurate parking sensors with some sort of visual aid / graphic display.
- Some fCensoredg light over the back seats when you open a door! Very Happy The boot/trunk could use some extra light, too.
- Remove the on-the-move satnav restriction for us poor Americans.
- Complimentary spinach can in the back seat for lifting or lowering rear headrests. Alternatively, redesigned headrests that move up and down without superhuman strenght.
- Wireless headsets for RSE equipped cars.
- One unswitched 12v receptacle, just one!
- A digital inclinometer on the 4x4 display, near the compass.
- I'd like to know how hot/cold it is outside when I am in offroad or access mode...
- A sturdier bottle jack instead of that teeny weeny scissors jack.
- Make the satnav guidance volume fixed and not variable according to radio volume / source, like PTI. Option to mute satnav voice automatically when on a PTI call.

Wow Umberto you have been busy - any more suggestions from the boys in the USA? I'll start a US specific wish list if you like becuase some of the things we have as standard are not even options in the US.
I've asked for the reversing camera to be made a dealer fit accessory then folks with Satanv could have it retro fitted.

DO you guys over there in the USA get Alarms and Immobilisers and poerfold heated mirrors as standard?
Folks in the UK - do any of you feel that you need the homelink facility.
There is one option that the boys in the USA get that I would like and that is the option of Sirius Satellite Radio but it isn't broadcast over in Europe yet. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yes but it should be easier to do, all those folk staring at you at the ferry terminal as you dismantle the front of your car just to switch the lights over Rolling Eyes

If they can do reverse dipping wing mirrors then it cannot be beyond the wit of a technician to enable headlights that can be adjusted for the dip pattern by a switch in the car - say from the menu in the info screen like you can switch on and off the dipping wing mirrors? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I don't think they get folding mirrors in the US, Tim... Umberto has complained about that on a number of occasions Wink

My idea: not that it's to do with the car as such, but how about reintroducing maintenance packs like they get in overseas markets. LR UK were stupid to get rid of them.

I had the VIPpack on my FFRR - I think LR got their fingers very badly burned with it! If BM can do it for the Mini (TLC pack) then why not LR?

I was just reminding Umberto that he is always complaining about the lack of powerfold Wink 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

They finally added powerfold mirrors as standard equipment on MY08s RRS in North America. Thumbs Up

However, we still don't get a locking fuel filler door. With fuel prices well above US$3/gal, maybe we should... Smile And still no cabin movement sensor in North America. Los Angeles is the world capital of car thieves and yet our alarm is only perimetric.

Wow powerfold mirrors hit the USA in MY2008! At least you should be able to retro fit them - quite easily if you don't need the memory. I had it done to a MG Maestro here way back in the 80's after the then BL launched the next model year with powered and heated mirrors. Umberto, you don't need to worry about $3 a US gallon that's £1.50 in Sterling........................ we are paying the equivalent of $9 a gallon here! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
