You could have the same fault as me see my thread in technical Blick with blick windows, big wheels, tow bar for nickin, side steps for the tart, DVD screens for on the go porn, 22" Stormers black and polished... as a matter of fact just about every box ticked.....if I`m going down I`m going down BIG time. )) Ducati 1098S for the road and track and KTM 250EXC smoker for the mud. |

If LR have a 'fix' but are not recalling cars, it means they only use the fix if the customer complains about the problem. You complained, so they are applying the fix. Someone else takes their car in for a service and the technician notices the squeeking noise, but the customer hasn't complained about it, then they don't apply the 'fix'. There was an old Bulletin on "Chirp on cold start", however it was only applicable to gasoline engines.

Sometimes its the drive pulleys or idler pulley that develope flats spots on them and the belt squeaks as it passes the flat spot.
