Automatic Start???

Is it possible to get an automatic start for a 2008 RRS HSE that will not void the warranty?

I'm in the USA, CT...

Thanks in advance. Nothing is too good to be true.

It can be fitted over here as part of an aftermarket alarm system, Clifford and other suppliers etc all offer it as an option to go with the alarm being fitted to the car.
But then as we are the car crime capital of Europe we have plenty of Auto electrical/alarm fitting type specialists over here.
You may need to route it through a Canbus interface to keep the body control module happy
As for the warranty you would be best asking the dealer you use. You don't stop playing because you get old, You get old because you stop playing.

But how would that interact with the memory?

In mine the memory is only recalled when the key is inserted, so if you have no more key to insert then the memory would need to be recalled manually. 08.5 RRS TDV6 HSE Java Black/Alpaga - Cold Climate Pack - Privacy Glass - Bluetooth - Sunroof - 20" wheels - Rubber Floor mats.

This is how a US owner did it (basically you'd need a third key): http://rangerovers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=154831&start=16

When the key is inserted it is recognised as the one programmed to the car. The key reader transmits the data from the key which has to match. To activate this you would need a third key programmed to the vehicle and hidden away so that it was read on the start sequence before entering the one in the ignition, once the vehicle has started it ignores the signal from the key, obviousley because of high speed failure etc while driving.
So as long as it reads one with the correct option code for that car first, it doesn't matter what you put in the ignition after, once the engine is running.

Hope this is ok for you to understand. You don't stop playing because you get old, You get old because you stop playing.
