You will like the TDV8 for it's effortless power delivery and performance almost as good as the S/C RRS, whether it is worth £6000 more is debatable, but is a superb engine.

If you have never driven a TDV8 buy the TDV6 if that is what you think you will be happy with. However NEVER test the drive the TDV8 afterwards. In my opinion it is like driving 2 tottaly different cars. |

That's a fair point... if you test both the V8 and the V6, you WILL want the V8 it's in a different world. However, that's not to diminish the V6 in anyway, it's perfectly suitable... just not as impressive.

You can get a deal on a TDV8 now, and they're available. I've had both and think the extra money is well spent. I smile every time I drive it, and that's just because of how it sounds. I call it 'the Bomber'.

Ah, forgot to mention that some of the price difference can be justified in the 20" Wheels, Adaptive Cruise Control and SC Grille which are over and above the V6 spec.

I've had both. Get the V8 even if it's a used one.

I can't decide which to go for either - the TDV8 or the S/C. I always get my cars from the same place (Innovation Cars) and they've been brilliant. I've tried the Cayenne, but now it's time to change I know I want the RRS. The Innovatiuon guys reckon the S/C in a pice they did recently at http://innovationcars.com/blog/range-rover...evisited/, but I can't decide. Help! Opinions please. |
