Hi guys,

Am gonna be in London next week and was wondering if anyone knows any companies that hire out RRs (or similars)?

Any help appreciated!




p.s. not sure if this belongs in the "Off Topic" section as I'm also interested in any other decent cars to hire (no ford focus's etc!!!)

...why not just arrange a "test drive" with a local LR dealer. The RRS might be difficult but there are quite a few D3 demo's in the network where the dealers are offering extended demo loans.

Although one other statement of (perhaps) the obvious : If you are staying in London during your trip I really wouldn't recommend you use a self drive car. There is so little parking and so much congestion that a car would be a liability / restriction in London. Using Cab's and public transport or private hire would be far better. If however you are planning a trip well away from London then car hire does of course make sense as long as you don't mind a woefully inadequate road system  RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Smarticus: agree on your comments about London (lived in central for 7 years!), but I think it'd be more convenient for me to get a car for the few days that I'm there..

Renting a Sport is always going to be expensive, therfore if you are watching the pennies then hire a Fiat Punto! As other have said, tube/cabs is a far easier option. TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

ABM and MHC work together supplying vehicles, so if you need a car, let either of us know via the forum or via our independant sites and we will work together and get you a car. Chappylads RRS is out on long term hire though, so it would be one of ours he would supply at this point in time..

Yes, but I think they went belly up due to too many people stuffing them into walls....

What car did you hire? The rates are a bit much to pay - I have dealt with www.dreamcarhire.com - they are quite good and the rates are reasonable. Hired a few cars off them - top service.
