As a footnote - the way you could have got this dealer working faster was just to reject the car. You have a 30 day exchange policy with LR and the last thing they want is to re-register a 2nd hand car as you would be listed as a previous owner. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

(from TB's saying)....a battery change now needs dealer support....wonder how it would react to a jump start?

you can reset the ECU yourself, use the key to lock, unlock and lock again

2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Zermatt Silver

Well, when i went to the pick up the RRS they loaned me on tuesday afternoon, i did point out to them that I was very close to considering just handing the keys back.

They said they understood, but asked if they could have some time to put things right, which IMHO i think they did

Oh no you can't . . .

I'm glad to hear everything worked out fine Bermyandy. Thumbs Up

It sounds like the stealer came good in the end and a free service as way of an apology is a positive result. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

As has been said many times before most car forums will have people saying they can't wait to change to X brand to get away from their nightmare car.
The RRS is a complicated beast and some owners do have more than their fair share of problems but there are also many others who have a trouble free life.
A lot may depend on the attitude / skill of your dealer in how they resolve any problems you may have.
Don't worry about problems that may never happen to your car.

I am sure you will enjoy it Thumbs Up
