TB is spot on, this is just poor dealer service. Leo the handbook tells you not to directly jump start but to charge the battery up with the other car then start, as I said earlier and TB said the car does not like a low battery |

So, alternator fixed today, new battery put in. Drove home tonight and love it. Had use of a TDv6 and whilst it wasnt slow, the supercharged brings a big grin to my face. As well silly low mpg!!
