TDv8 Service Interval... what is it?

Oh, and will the car tell me when it needs servicing? I've come from an Audi which lets me know by pressing a button when it needs servicing, and will remind regularly in the run-up.

I can't remember the interval on the TDv8, nor do I know if it'll tell me. HELP!

England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

12 months or 15,000 miles unless it's driven particularly hard. I think it starts to count you down to a required service from about 1500 miles when you first switch the ignition on.

If I'm wrong then shhot me down in flames! Embarassed TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

When you need a service a day countdown will appear in the info panel, not sure what happens if you reach mileage first. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Cheers!

Just trickled over 11k miles on a March '07 plate, so well within both mileage and time!
