Balloon ban wipes smile off Brian's face

A British clown has had the smile wiped off his face after being told he could not use balloons in his act because children might be allergic to latex in the balloons and other on-stage props. Previously he had his bubble making machine banned !.

yet again, this is a bit of media hype unfortunately. No one from the HSE advised this restriction and in fact they say it is nonsense to restrict the clown from using balloons as reported - the management from the supermarket decided this all by themselves without taking any official advice from any qualified Health & Safety professional.

Probably because they were in fear of being sued by someone if something did go wrong

but thats their own stupidity - its not the law nor will be supported by the HSE so its not the Government or any authorities fault
