Engine modifications

Are there any modifications on the market that you can use to improve Power and MPG that don't invalidate the warranty?

Truthfully.......No.

There are some devices that are plug in that if you remember to Exclamation you could remove prior to LR doing any work on the vehicle.......but I doubt you will find anyone on the forum who thinks they are any good. They push in more fuel without altering some other factors which may lead to further long term problems.

If you're going to do it then reprogram the ecu (chip it). I think we all agree this is safer.

But I'm afraid if there is a problem and LR suspect you have modified it then they are unlikely to uphold the warranty if they can attribute any connection to the modification. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Steve,

Just a thought - Speak with your supplying dealer - if they are happy to do a performance upgrade for you then if there is any problem later then they should be able to handle it (i.e. wrt to any warranty problems)
