TurboD, my TDv8 has been re-mapped. Hard to say precisely how much difference it makes, 'cos a day after you have the job done it feels "normal" again. But suffice to say the vehicle goes like stink, pulls like a very big train, yet handles everything very well indeed.

Tasmod did it. Fuel consumption is about 23mpg, which is no worse than before. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Hi all. What about remapping a TDV6, i would like more power but i'm afraid about engine life. How about reliability? How much kw will I earn?

HAd mine done by DMS in Southampton, they also did my two previous TDV6's. Have to say the difference is great, and slightly more fuel efficient on normal driving mode... which is not very often. Claimed figures are 336 bhp and 606 ft lb, feels all of that and more without the heavy smoke too. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Remapping a TDV6 is no problem, obviously I can't speak for others but with Torq-Tune the torque & power increase in no way stresses the engine or drivetrain, typically we can provide an increase of 35kW at the wheels with the tune created specifically for your vehicle |
