Now that the temps have dropped am I the only owner who is disapointed with the in car heating? It takes ages to get the interior warm and even then it's not really hot! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Yep, I've found the same sort of issue over the weekend... haven't seen the relevant posts on the D3 site, but a couple of folks here have had internal thermostats replaced. I can force the car to get warm by turning the fan up and manually directing the air into the front of the car. The windscreen is heated of course, so I've not relied too heavily on the hot air from the windscreen vents to clear it.... even if you pop out to the car 5 mins before leaving and hit the prog button, the car doesn't get warm until you've been in and driving for a while.

Amazing! How ironic, I also found the same thing this morning and wondered if it was just me.

I have felt the same thing on the top of the door trims . I think this is related to the cold air coming out of th little vents to clear the side windows. I was hoping somebody had a fix , can't really face ringing the dealer and being asked to bring the car in and leave it with them or being told they know nothing about it and I am the first to have mentioned it !! |
