Hello gentlemen, Purchased my first RRS a couple of weeks back. Lovely car so far. No doubt I will need some advice in the coming months so this seems like a good place to be. Reading many posts on here, I have already changed my mind on the most immediate tasks to be carried out. Great knowledge pool.

Hello Forum! After taking a chance on RRS 2007 4.2SC i was so impressed i sold it for a offer i couldnt refuse! With the itch to have another one i opted for a 2.7TDV6 in Bonatti Grey was and still is a non runner. So ill get to work going through the forum for support!

I'm seriously looking at an RRS and joined to find out more, including technical/mechanical issues and fixes as well as mods.  QM

Hi, new member here, jumping over from a discovery sport and collect my new RRS on Monday 14th March, been on order since August last year so really looking forward to collecting it, sticking with Diesel so went for the D250 HSE.

Just saying hello to the members in here, I'm a member of 2 of the sister forms fulllfat and discovery forums currently running an L322 v8 m62 engine car my all time dream motor plus a P38 v8 my sort of classic which iv restored and kept with the intention of being a keeper plus the family bus the wife's D3 tdv6 hse in almost immac condition......clearly not enough V8s in my life so I'm just about to pick up an 83k 4.2 super charged from a mate it's got lpg with valve saver but he hardly uses that. I'm use to lpg on my L322 and iv serviced and repaired a few systems for other owners .

With the recent possible future ulez comming to where I live I will proberly have to sell the lot and just run the supercharged..........I'm well use to fixing things so hopefully I won't need to get my spanners out to often.

Just waiting on a small rear bumper blemish and paint before I collect as my mate is fussy and won't let me have it until its sorted....pictures when iv got it

Picked up my RRS 2007 tdv8 auto (MY FIRST) with 145K miles last Thursday, really enjoying the drive.
Things i know i need to do, fit new rear disks and pads once i have removed the rounded wheel nuts. replace the spare wheel winch, find a spare that's the right size, change the oil and filter and get the gearbox mega flushed.
Then i can start on the jobs i don't know i need to do yet.
Update- Jobs i didn't know about-
Xmas tree light display caused by faulty alternator, changed that no easy task on a TDV8
Replaced all rear brake pipes both sides
Air filter
Oil and filter change
Pollen filter
all interior bulbs
Need to do rear propshaft or bearing (not decided which yet)
Wheels need attention
SO FAR

what sort you gone for petrol or diesel

hi just got another range rover thanks to the fuel prices so had to sell my c7 RS6 so i know have a 2016 hse dynamic with the full 2021 SVR conversion and i am most than happy looks stunning

Well a few of us newbies here, it's not a very bust forum compared to another forum I'm a member of hopefully it's a sign of how good these cars are..... we can only hope.

Good afternoon Ladies & Gentlemen.

Looking at RRS's as my RR Vogue is now dead.

Hoping to learn which models/engines/gearboxes to avoid.

As well as a daily driver the vehicle will have to be able to tow a 14' 2.5T box trailer with relative ease.

I've been told that the RRS is based more on the Discovery than a RR ?

Any advice would be appreciated.
