Its only now that I can afford to own a rrs and hope to get one before xmas .I am used to fantastic reliability from the last two CRV s that I owned so I thought I would go for a 12 month old rrs so I would have a two year warranty for piece of mind . Good idea ?

Have been a lurker here for years. Had a go in a Sport for a day long drive after they first came out years ago, thanks to Ripon Land Rover . We kept our Disco TD5 at the time but she is now 11 years old and the time is right to part with her.

So the deposits in and have a build date of early April for a 2014.5 Sport.

Hello there, I´ve registered a few weeks ago, so I think it is the right thing for me to introduce myself. I have been the proud owner of a 2005 RRS S/C for about 2 months now. Before that, I drove around in a P38A for 7 years. Absolutly loved it, though there were moments I wanted to set fire to the Thing. On the other hand, a P38 lets you get your hands dirty and it greatly increases your knowledge about cars. And when it runs, it runs like nothing else. But she was getting old; cooling system leaking somewhere, aircon not working, headliner started to sag, the usual.. The rest of the family (mother, brothers) drive around in Disco 3, 4 and the odd Defender. Their Indy told me they had a S/C coming in. One testdrive left the P38 in their parkinglot, and of I went with my "new' car. Perfectly maintained by the same Indy since delivery. It puts a smile one my face every time I drive it.. So that is how I ended up on this great forum. IMO, the best there is! Thank you for all the knowledge I have already sucked up!

I was previously a member of the Disco3 forum but I bought a Jaguar and strayed away. Now I'm back having just taken delivery of an 11 month old RRS HSE Black Edition.

Hi all,

Just joined and picked up my 'new' and first Land Rover model RRS 09 2.7 HSE on Friday. So far so good.
Have had Landcruiser,Jeep and X-Trail in past but not for a few years.
She has just done 41500 miles and one 'very careful lady owner' Front tyres were fine but garage fitted new Kumho X3 boots on rear and new MOT. She looks and feels great and love this site....lots of info even if I do not understand most of it . Oh by the way she cost me nothing, but that is another story
