personally I'd go for the AUDI over the BMW (Alpina excluded from that statement though Wink )

Must admit - New Audi A5 3.0 tdi sounds temting - 0 - 60 in 5.9 sec and nearly 40mpg to boot !

It is a reworked version of the current 3.0tdi unit & apparently the order book is spirralling

Hmmmm.... not sure.

If it comes down to spec (performance, mpg, handling etc) then I guess the BM would pretty much always win - but for me AUDI just has more class
