P400e Timed Charging

My L494 Sport is now gone to be replaced by a full size 2021 Range Rover Fifty P400e. I am in the fullfatrr site but is is not a patch on this one for getting replies to queries. I imagine the controls are the same as a sport P400e so here is my dilemma
I am using the granny charger but try as I might, cannot get the timed charging to come on between midnight & 5 am. As soon as I plug it in, it starts charging. Tried everything I can think of in the handbook, but to no avail.. Why do you need to set a departure time when all you want is timed charging
Anyway an idiots guide, step by step is what I need. Help Big Cry Big Cry

As an aside, it says 30 miles with a full charge, but in real life, it probably mid to low twenty's. For my usage, I think it would be ideal if it could get 50miles on a full charge but it is pretty good. Would never consider full leccy car though Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e

Departure and charging times are controlled by the User interface in car. If you are using granny charger you may not have enough time to charge fully as I think if I remember you are lucky to get 2.3 kwh in an hour. A single phase 32 amp charger takes just over 2 hours from empty to full and I use a zappi on ev rate for 3 hours.

Dedicated chargers are expensive and we only got one as we have a full electric andy P400e

Used the user interface, get the message that charging will start at midnight as programmed when i switch off the car, but as soon as I plug in the charger it immediately begins charging?????
Granny charger is fine for me, mileage is low, if I can get the Censored thing to work I can get enough low cost leccy two to three times a week
Dedicated charger is probably around £800-£1000 installed. That's a lot of charges with granny cable. Considering I have no interest in full electric, not worth it
Just need someone to take me by the hand programming in the timed charge between midnight & 5am Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e

Those are totally different pages to my Sport, but it looks like you have a departure time of 00:05?
Set that to 9:00 and you might have more luck!

Search the app library on your phone for Land Rover Remote. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

Did as you suggested, set departure for 8.00am. Switched on, plugged in, lo & behold, it did not immediately start charging. Got up this morning & it was charged. Thank you Bow down I have been trying for weeks Big Cry Could not figure out why you need a departure time
One thing I noticed that my smart meter took a large surge around 7.30am, assume it was just topping up prior to departure time of 8.00am, so must remember to switch it off when I get up.
Thanks again Thumbs Up
Course I knew how to set it Whistle Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e

No problem. When I got my P400e 3 years ago I did exactly the same and did not realise the significance of the departure time.
Like you I just wanted to plug in each night and be fully charged for whenever I used it the next day.
