No crank no start, lights flashes on the dashboard

Hi Guys
I'm new to this forum. I have a 2008 RRSport that I am working on, it's acting up, lights flickering, no crank no start and there is also water on the front passenger floor. Any help from you guys will be appreciated.

is your vehicle right or left hand drive? if rh, then is suspect you have water ingress hitting the fuse box. also remove battery & check ecu for water damage.

Thanks for your reply.
It's left hand drive.
I remove the starting kits (key, ECU, dashboard, fuse box, immo ring) and put it on another RRSport it works perfect. No lights flashes, everything works normal.

1. Water ingress around the base of the right-hand (passenger) A-pillar.
2. Faulty battery/ground connection. Regards etc.,

The battery is good. Is there any ground underneath this seat?

I forgot to mention this; there's also an E on dashboard, there's no P on dashboard but E.

An E stands for gearbox error.
It seems to me you have a major f***up in the CAN bus. If you have water in the passenger footwell, this is where you need to focus on and find whatever damage the water has done to the wiring harnesses. Regards etc.,
