There is also an offer of a free pair of sleeping key fob batteries which I have sent for following which they replied saying they had my order and I should get them within 6 MONTHS!! 2017 3.0 SDV6 HSE

No they are batteries that sleep after 3 minutes of no movement so the scanning picks up nothing.
Link below - expensive way of saving the use of a pouch though!

I just disabled my wireless access in the car. 2019

Open drivers door
Press headlight button on key 3 times
Press unlock


Do that quickly.
Then use the remote key as an old remote.


To re-enable, do the same but press lock
