heater control valve

RRS L320 3.0 ltr diesel
The internal heating on my car has never been great. I have owned the car for 13 years and just went along that it was poor build.
I had a radiator hose burst and replaced and the heating seemed worse as in luke warm instead of warmer. The garage flushed the radiator system through expecting it to be an airlock but it was no better.
I have warm air on the drivers side and cold air on the passengers side.
I have done some research which i think leads to the heater control valve being a common fault. I cant find much on this for a L320 but found a video of a L322 where the car had a heater control valve on both sides of the engine. From what i can see in the video, they are two different parts.
Looking for this part, i can only get listed one part number LR016848 for the L320.

can anyone confirm that if there are one or two valves on the L320 or is it just one? If there are two, are they the same on both sides?
thankyou
