Timing pin for Belt installation No Starter removal

Found this on ebay ...
Its the clone of the factory alignment pin and does not need the starter to be removed..
As seen on LR Time.

Where does that go in? I saw one video where he’s screwing in a timing pin, but it’s right where the power steering and A/C compressor mount. Highly curious since I’ll be working on mine shortly. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Looking at the video they sent me its on the LHS of the engine about 3 in from the sump line..in the photo on ebay you can see one bolt remaining .thats the cap over the hole.
The critical thing is it must be the right length within 0.1mm and the pins are not 6mm but 5.8.
By the time you have got the fan and crank shaft pulley off maybe moving some thing out the way will be a lot easier than moving the starter motor and and the oil cooler which is in the way.

Its JLR nothings easy. Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.

I’d stick to the usual method, unless the AC is off. (Not easy to remove compressor )
