It also adds the active rear diff as well which will help on road by improving traction and dynamic response and likewise off road (although I doubt many, if any, will ever go there).

I have it on mine, as its standard on the P510e and compared to my previous L494 it has a much tighter turning circle and when trying to park or reversing you can manoeuvre the car much easier. Not sure if you notice the other bits of the pack in daily driving though.

When it comes to trade-in time the extras count for virtually nothing in value. If that concerns you delete the option, if not go ahead. Tim

Thanks for your replies. I’m not bothered about trade in - it’s more whether it’s worth the additional £5k up front. |

If you're trading it in with a dealer, then yes. If you sell it privately, then worthwhile options will attract a premium, albeit a fraction of the original option price. But then anyone who specs a car based on what the next owner might like is an idiot IMHO. You're buying the car, buy what you want and accept any small financial loss as just part of the price of having your ideal car. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
