Hi, don’t know if anyone can help as I’m at a loss now. I have a RRS 2006 with a central locking mystery, the vehicle will lock with the key fob and flash 3 times (indicators), but will not unlock with the key fob, to unlock you have to use the key in the passenger side door and then open the door, the alarm will sound and can be stopped by pressing the unlock on the key fob, the indicators will flash multiple times.

Just wondered if it could be a fault with the actual fob, but obviously as you haven't a spare can't actually try it to eliminate that thought.

Hi Col thanks for your replies, sorry I forgot to mention that the key fob was tested as well and is showing as ok, it has also had a new ultrasonic pod in the roof.

Thanks for your reply Andy K I will check the wire splices this weekend and if no change I will have to fork out for a new cjb, i was hoping to avoid this as it is a lot of money and it might still not cure the problem.

I have got an Autel pro which I can try, it seems to do most things on the RRS. |

Hi, quick update on progress, I have re-done several splices which looked a bit rough but the problem still persists, I tried my autel but it will not allow me to change anything in the ccf , but there is still no fault codes so I might have to bite the bullet and get a new cjb and hope this is the problem. |
