Strange I swapped mine out and was just plug and play..... no coding or anything needed.

Just recently had two new ones fitted myself. By landcover tech. L494. plug and play here also |

PS Usually might need to just drive around for 5 mins to let the module 'bed' in.

I think the OP may have a L320 not a L494, if so extract from a MY12/13 workshop manual, although I think DM might be the man you need to confirm.
