That "i" means the system has "information" for you. Simply press the button on the end of the stalk and the information will appear on the screen. The info is typically "washer botle empty" or the like.... RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

It can also be triggered if the outside temperature drops below 4C and mine came up today and I couldn't find any message until I stopped and then when I went through the restart it was telling me that I have 30 days to go until the 2nd service is due! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

AMM, don't let me hold you back from coming to Scotland or the North of England, May and June are good times to come............................... but don't expect to have an RRS to drive when you get here unless you rent one from one of the 4x4 specialist rental companies, the majors don't rent RRS's out (yet), also in Scotland you cannot take a car offroad without LOADS and Loads of hassles as unlike England we don't have any public rights of way and you can be prosecuted for driving offroad on private land (most of Scotland is privately owned by about 10 wealthy people!) without the land owner's permission. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Don't you only get something on the "i" button if an alarm has occurred (i.e. low temps, empty washer bottle etc)?

Yes, once one of the preset or driver variable parameters has been exceeded - so it could be that he has the speed alarm set quite low. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
