So they took a fuel sensor of a working car just to make sure then took the car out and it drove great apparently no limp mode then they took it out again the next day and they where accelerating on a slip way when it just cut out on them and they wouldn’t get it to restart so had to get it recovered back to the dealer but still can’t get it to restart they tho putting the old fuel sensor back in should get it back running again but it didn’t

The FVCV is part of the HPFP. |

Yes I do know this but why would I or any of the technicians that have worked on the car believe that two FVCV would be faulty in a row and would require a third unit to resolve the issue, naturally after two attempts you would be more than happy that the fault was not a result of the HPFP, thus moving on to investigate other parts of the fuel system like making sure the HPFP / FVCV was getting enough fuel to operate properly, then making sure the FVCV was getting the proper commands by testing the wiring / changing the plugs to even replacing the PCM just to make sure the HPFP was being commanded properly.
