Any updates Wiz ? Particularly interested in the results of pulling fuse 3.

My 4.2 had been dropping on the rear right. Wasn’t anything expensive in the end, just a ride height sensor, but the suspension does need calibrating after any work is done on the suspension.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Easter break!

Its taken a while to do the take out the fuse test but I finally did it last night and both sides front dropped by 4cm and both sides back dropped by 2cm.

What does that mean?

Hmm - one corner would have meant a leak on that corner airbag or valve connection. All 4 dropping sound like the tank isn’t holding pressure or a compressor fault.

Andy will no doubt be along shortly to diagnose/confirm.

All 4 dropping sounds like a central fault rather than an individual issue.

It was definitely the top left (looking from the front of the car) brown fuse you removed ?

It should be a yellow 20a fuse you are removing overnight.

Tried this over night and the car pretty much held its height. Front dropped by only 1cm in the arches but back stayed exactly the same.

Front D - 19cm / 17.5cm
Front P - 17cm / 16cm
Back D - 18.5cm / 18.5cm
Back P - 19.5cm / 19.5cm

As soon as i put the fuse back in it dropped to normal height as below

Front D - 14cm
Front P - 14cm
Back D - 15cm
Back P - 17cm

last few days i've noticed that even if I leave the car parked for 1hr its dropping and when I start it again the car starts leveling itself.

Front drivers side suspension strut has already been changed. I will get front passenger side changed this weekend so they are in pairs.

Any ideas?

If you haven’t already, clean the front valve block and change the seals.

If you have a gap iid monitor the live data of the height sensors (including while driving) to look for one doing something odd.
In extreme cases the 4x4 colour central display will show wheels bouncing around while driving. (When you have a bad sensor)

Otherwise live with it for now.
