Bit long winded but here goes... RRS P400e 21600 miles on the clock...Phoned a LR dealer to book the car in for a service. He tells me the car needs to have belts changed as part of the service and the cost would be over £1000....
Phoned another LR dealer to book the same service... no mention of changing belts.. £350
Am i missing something or was dealer 1 talking sh*te?? Thanks

Presumably they are talking about the aux belt. Charge cooler needs removing, and the coolant system is a f'king nightmare to bleed properly

Yes correct on both parts, every 4 years aux belts are due to be replaced due the tensioner set up and correct about the intercooler being in the way as thats where the majority of costs are on the labour for remove and refit of that. Cooling system isn't actually too bad as long as you use a vacuum bleeder 2010 RRS, TDV6
