Recommendation for Inlet manifold supplier...

Hi Folks,

I have the dreaded cracked LHS inlet manifold. Genuine parts are very expensive and obviously do crack. Can anyone recommend a reliable replacement after market supplier.

Obviously this is an expensive part to change and I would like to avoid buying a part that will fail again...

Thank you.

Genuine LR is the way to go, as it is now a modified part (ie. both halves of manifold are now the same thickness), and there is a 2 year warranty.

Anyhing else is just a gamble.

Get one for a Citroen C5 3.0 HDI. Part number 0248 S2. I paid half what LR wanted and got the exact same updated part, but in a PSA box.

I tried that. Our PSA dealer was more expensive than JLR, and was still on back order...

Thanks all,

I have enquired about the part NoExpert recommends to check with the seller that it will fit. I'll let you know the outcome in good time.

Cheers Mike.

There’s only one left so if it wasn’t you that bought it I’d snatch it up quick. That is the part I bought for my 2011 3.0 RRS and it was the same part, just updated and without a split. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
