There is a emergency park release lever which you could pull which should allow you to at least move the vehicle. This maybe for a L/H/D, access to the lever maybe different on a R/H/D and under the cover by the epb switch not sure, but the lever should be there somewhere.

That’s for the 8HP70 transmissions with the rotary knob. This is a 2010 with a 6HP28 that uses a manual gear lever.

Need to get under the car to see if the cable has slipped. Have to remove the rearward plastic underbody cover for access. On the right side of the transmission is a short lever with a steel rod/cable attached. It has a 13mm nut and a 21mm bushing. Hold the bushing with a wrench while loosening the nut, push the lever forwards towards the front of the car and put the gear shift in Park, then tighten the nut back up on the lever. See if this fixes it. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Stand corrected, could explain why I've never noticed it on my s/c Laughing Isn't there something about that lever /bush siezing up as well.

That being said, I just gave mine a good dose of cleaning up then lubricating, still good after several years.

The 5.0SC’s for 2010-2013 all had beefed up 6HP28’s same as the 2010/2011 3.0 TDV6’s. Only the 2012/2013 3.0 SDV6’s had the 8HP70.

Yes, those bushing have a tendency to seize up, had to replace a couple due to this. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Yeah, was told that years ago when I bought mine, apparently the original 8 speed was not strong enough to cope with the output from the 5.0L S/C, personally much prefer the stick shift though as gives me a hand rest Smile odd thing is the they never put the beefed up version of the six speed in the 5.0L N/A for some reason, I guess it might of been because the were dropping that engine,

I’m with you on the manual shifter, makes a very nice hand rest and in my opinion adds to the “Sport” feel. I wish I could get the fuel efficiency of the 8 speed with the shifter of the 6 speed.

The 5.0NA (510 nm) didn’t make the torque numbers the 3.0 TDV6 (600 nm) and 5.0SC (625 nm) make. So they didn’t feel a need to beef it up for the torque. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

If anyones running a 5.0L S/C L320 aerodynamic house brick I don't think fuel efficency is top of the priority list no matter which box it had in it. Laughing
