United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

There's a bit of debate about this video over on the Disco3 site. Some people calling in to question why this guy's right and everyone else is wrong... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Thanks for the link. Some interesting opinions and statements. I think Disco Mikey should start his own YouTube channel (difficult I know given he’s fixing LRs full time) but THAT would be popular👍. 2016 L494 SDV6 HSE Dynamic Carpathian Grey

As with most things, he's right in some ways, not so correct in some, and incorrect in the rest.

I would agree with him on the part where using an original manufacturer's oil pump is the correct way to go. The so-called OEM oil pump is a risky move in exchange for saving a few quid. That said, either I got a dud OEM pump or they are all cr*p.

After all, why would I risk an entire (expensive) engine for a few quid?
