I use Bilt Hamber Auto foam which is much better than valet pro ph neutral that I’ve been using for years,,it doesn’t foam as much but it does the job better plus I use it through a pump sprayer rather than a snow foam lance this way you don’t use as much foam.

You don’t really want it to hang around,,you want it to run off the car to take the muck with it.

That stuff does run off obviously, but not too quick. It has time to soak into the muck before running off |

Devon,,do you use it in a snow foam lance or a pump sprayer.? Most of the guys on deatailingworld.co.uk recommend a pump sprayer as you don’t use as much product.I use it in a 7 litre pump sprayer, once it’s mixed to the right ratio you can leave in the sprayer the product you don’t use so the 7 litres usually does the RRS 4-5 washes.

+1 for magifoam, here's a few pictures of the Scooby taken before and after using magifoam, no hand washing, just a power wash after the snowfoam had done its thing.

I have been using the Gtechniq W6 snow foam and it seems to be quit good but used the last of it yesterday so not sure if I should just buy another bottle or try something else.

I don’t rate Autoglymm snow foam - very thin and doesn’t stick on the car for long. I apply it with a Karcher snow foam tool and no matter what setting I use that the foam is more like whipped up washing up liquid than what the detailers put on my cars - which is GTechniq snow foam applied with pumped sprayer and it makes a very dense foam that was allowed (on a very hot sunny day) the stay on the for a while and it didn’t slide off quickly.
