Car wont communicate with OBD reader

Been to 2 RR specialists and cannot get the car to communicate with the OBD reader. Both garages reluctant to try and fix it as they charhe £70 an hour plus vat and neither can guarantee they can find the issue or how many hours it might take.

I really dont know what to do next. Any ideas guys?

Has it got a dummy OBD port to prevent it being stolen?
Worth looking behind the plug and dash

Had this on a Merc ML. It was a blown fuse that was in the OBD circuit. Anything else not working ? See if they’re on the same fuse if there is.

Edit - Google Range Rover sport obd fuse. A few posts should help narrow things down.

Might be worth checking fuse No. 63 in the passengers side footwell fuse box behind the glovebox.

Cheers
