2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Bonatti Grey

RRS 2010 Brake Light

So the Brake light in the spoiler is starting to play up.

Bought a genuine replacement but been told the spoiler is glued onto the tailgate glass and I would most likely need a new rear glass too.

Anyone else come across this, the car was booked in with rybrook sometime last year I remember for a recall, could they have possibly glued it?

Anyway around a new glass lol RRS TDV6 2010

2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

I did my 2013 other day ( l320 ) and it’s not glued. Remove boot trim around the area, there’s 3 nuts quite far back and 2 recessed into the metalwork.
Mine snapped the welds on some bolts and was bodged back 😂🙈

pretty sure the glue is what holds the painted top half of the spoiler to the underlying frame, which is bolted to the tailgate.

Just had my recall done yesterday - I got a new spoiler which they had to paint because they couldnt bond it.
