My door handles are the early type without the clip off covers.

As they’re a faded grey, what’s the generally accepted means of tidying them up ? I have some forever black on order to do the scuttle and various other parts, but didn’t know whether they should be removed and painted, or use the Forever Black.

Had a very nice drive back yesterday - it’s super quick with the smaller pulley, although don’t know if it’s 6% or 10%. There was a bit of “turbo” lag as the previous owner had fitted a free flow air filter, so swapped that out for the original paper one.
