As they had to remove the scuttle panel to replace the screen, it might be worth checking if they broke any off the plastic retaining clips and never bothered replacing them, if it is original and the clips are 10 years old they are probably quite brittle so easily done.

Thanks for replying kas982, ok good to know. Will sort wiper arm myself asap. And thanks Col, have tried pushing down on the cowl all the way across and it doesn't seem to move. But maybe when i have more time i might remove the cowl as i would quite like to try and treat it to see if i can get back to darker grey, so i will take a closer look at the retaining clips at the same time and order new if they are causing the issue.

Thanks Andy K, great tip, i will definitely read through this and might try his if i can't get the cowl to seal properly. My first issue is, i can't even get the bl**dy wiper arm off. I'll buy some proper penetrating oil asap, but i just used WD-40 for now. The nut came off easy but the arm is stuck solid which is strange seeing they obviously just took it off, you'd think it would come off super easy if its just been off. If you have any great tips how to get the arm off please let me know otherwise i'll start looking thought treads on here and you tubing and / or poss think about investing into a wiper arm puller as my interior trim panel removers are not strong enough to prise it off.

They aren’t easy to remove on RRS.
